How to Install Virtual Box ,Virtual Machine in Windows 7

Windows 7 is something of a relic. Not as old as Windows XP, of course. But Windows 7 is coming to the end of January 2020 at the end of the fast support date. At that time, Microsoft will stop issuing public Windows 7 security patches. Companies that rely on Windows 7 will pay Microsoft to work on operating systems and keep them fit. But those reforms are unlikely to reach the public.

One option is to install Windows 7 in Virtualbox Virtual Machine. Installing Windows 7 as a virtual machine promotes security. Here's how you do it

Why do you need to install Windows 7 in your virtual Box

Before you are going, you need a few things.

You must download and install Virtualbox before continuing. Virtualbox can install and run 5.2.xx 32 and 64-bit image files. Download and install the Virtualbox link below.

Download: VirtualBox for Windows 5.2.xx | macOS | Solaris | Ubuntu (All Free)

A later version of Virtualbox, version 6.x. In it, the first 5.2.xx version is working because it can handle both architectures and is still receiving updates.
If you do not have your Windows 7 ISO, you can enter your Windows 7 product key to secure the official download.

Once you install Virtualbox and you have Windows 7 ISO, you can continue.

How To Install Windows 7 In VirtualBox

Open VirtualBox. A select new one. Give your Windows 7 virtual machine a name
Now, how much memory should be allocated to allocate virtual machines. How much you allocate depends on the host system as well as what you use for Windows 7. For example, my desktop has 16 GB RAM, so I can afford to allocate more memory to virtual machines so that it runs faster. In this situation, I am allocating 2048MB, which is 2GB.

In the bottom panel, select Create a virtual hard disk, then create.

Microsoft recommends a minimum of 16GB of storage for Windows 7. Allot as much or as required, but make sure it is over 16GB. Keep the hard disk file type in the form of VDI (you can move this virtual machine disk type into other virtual machine software), and allow the virtual box to allocate disk size (if you need more storage than you allocate, The disk can expand dynamically).

Create hits.

Configure your Windows 7 virtual machine

Before hitting the start, there are some options that you need to configure.

Right-click on the virtual machine and select Settings.
Now under the Systems tab, select the processor. You have the option of assigning more processing power to your Windows 7 virtual machine in the way of assigning another processor core. If you have a multi-core system, assigning an extra core will give you a faster virtual machine experience. Depending on your system hardware, it can perform slow performance for the host machine.
Next, under the Display tab, extend the video storage to 128 MB.

On the Storage tab. Here you enter your Windows 7 ISO Under Storage Devices, select Empty Slots. Then, under Attributes, select the Drive icon.

Now you're ready to boot your Windows 7 VirtualBox virtual machine for the first time.

Windows 7 Installation Guide

Select your keyboard language and continue. Hit Install Now, then accept the licensing agreement.
On the next page, select Custom, then select the first created virtual disk image drive. The Windows 7 installation process will begin. Go and make a cup of tea, because it can take a moment. After the installation process completes, your Windows 7 virtual machine will automatically restart

Windows 7 will restart sometime during the installation process. There is nothing to worry about this. Do not touch a key when prompted or you will return to Installs Now, instead of letting the installer do its work.

After all, you will reach the Windows 7 user name set up, then there will be a password creation page. If you already input your product key and download Windows 7 Direct from Microsoft, you can not face this page. If you do not have a Windows 7 product key at the present time, you can leave this page, but your Windows 7 virtual machine will have limited functionality.

Use the recommended security settings, select your time zone, and continue.

Install VirtualBox guest enhancements ISO

Final Setup Virtualbox is for guest enhancement ISOs. Virtualbox Guest Additions provide better virtualization of your virtual machine with better mouse pointer integration, shared files between host and client, better video support, shared clipboard, and other easy tools.

Enter Guest Addition CD Image for Devices. Select start menu> Compute. Open the guest editions CD image, then run VBoxWindowsAdditions. Install guest additions, then reboot.
